Cycle 4 Update

I’m currently in week 3 of cycle 4. Am I on track? No. (BUT, I am getting back on track as each day passes and I will end the cycle on a great note 🙌🏻)

So what happened? I was distracted by the ghost of cycle-2-physical-challenge (with us until late November), and I was not disciplined enough with my original scoping.

It started out with a simple enough brief:

1. Post on LinkedIn every day for 6 weeks.

2. Read an email course thing that I had subscribed to.

Then I started adding all sorts of other stuff to the list - some necessary, some not.

Before long, the scope was bloated and all over the place and my subconscious sought refuge in my training.

Don’t get me wrong, I have made some good progress over the last two weeks, but it hasn’t been on the key bits of what was in the original scope. I was in very real danger of abandoning Shape Up for the rest of 2024.

As of this evening (Monday), I’m clawing my way back on to the right track. I will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!

If there’s still time on the clock, best believe I will get some points on the board.

In 4 weeks time my outputs for this cycle will be different to what they started out as, but I still have plenty of time to turn this around and make the best of it.
